Pampered groundhog named Jeff gets a homemade apple and banana burrito delivered in a basket lowered from a window, then digs into his backyard feast with his little paws

How do animals get so spoiled that they end up with their own homemade burritos delivered in a basket?

Did you know groundhogs have separate spaces in their burrows for sleeping and going to the bathroom? They have somewhere to sleep, somewhere to use the bathroom, and, in Jeff's case, someone upstairs preparing a homemade burrito for them. That last feature isn't included in every burrow, but according to Penn State, groundhogs keep those areas apart because it helps keep their home clean. So that's probably the reason why Jeff decided to eat the burrito in today. No takeout. He wants to keep his burrow clean, even though he is actually so tidy. He really knows how to eat a burrito without all the ingredients falling apart. He literally does it better than me.

Watching him get so spoiled makes me think about all the things we do to spoil our animals that we don't show to the world because we think they're common, since they are part of our daily lives. But they are not. So please show them! In my case, it made me remember the dogs at my ex-girlfriend's house who took over the living room couches. We normalized the situation, but those cute doggos were very spoiled. The couches had been bought for the family. Of course, because they were human furniture for humans to sit on. Eventually, they became the dogs' beds, and nobody was interested in preventing that from happening. Instead, the whole family ended up not using those couches anymore because the dogs used them. Basically, the family furnished the living room for their pets without even knowing it. If my ex is reading this, I hope you and your dogs are doing well. Please tell them I still support their claim to the couches.

Like my ex's dogs, Jeff also enjoys a comfortable service. He gets his lunch delivered to the backyard. A man not only prepares an apple, banana and peanut butter burrito, he also develops a delivery system with a basket. He sends it down the window, and Jeff gets to concentrate on his lunch. The burrito arrives from the sky, and he eats, holding it with his little paws. The arrangement sounds very agreeable to me.

These kinds of little adjustments people make around animals are very sweet. Sometimes a family leaves their living room couches to their dogs. Sometimes a man prepares a burrito for a groundhog. It's so sweet that these gestures have become an ordinary part of somebody's day.
And by the way, after seeing Jeff, I think those dogs could have asked for more. They already had the couches. They could have tried negotiating for room service.
